Q&A


  • Typically, our minimum age is 13 years for athletes to participate in our Elite training program, designed for high school and collegiate athletes.  Occasionally, we hold special seasonal youth training for athletes aged 10-12.

  • No time like the present. The sooner, the better.  One of the most common comments we get from older clients is, "I wish I would have started this earlier."  We don't have cutoffs or admission windows, you can get started any time. Training is a continuous, ongoing endeavor that should become a part of a well-rounded development routine.

  • Yes!  We have great data to show the difference in performance metrics over the course of a season for those who trained in-season vs. those who did not.  The differences are substantial (sometimes >20% drop-off in performance metrics).  We want you at your peak during the playoffs, not at the start of your season!

  • We work and have worked with athletes who play many different sports: all the "traditional" sports, plus we've trained high divers, elite martial artists, tactical athletes, and the list goes on.  If you have specific questions related to training for your sport, don't hesitate to reach out. 

  • Yes!  We work with a number of adult clients (most typically in a private training setting, but not always).  We also work with several high school and collegiate clients who do not participate in sports, but still see great benefits from making performance training part of their routine.   

  • It will depend somewhat on your training plan, but most training sessions include some form of the following:

    • a dynamic warm up

    • core stability development

    • speed, jump/plyometric, and agility work

    • strength training
