It's time to supercharge and enhance your body's ability to recover. We are excited to announce a new and holistic approach to tapping into that parasympathetic - rest and rejuvenation state.

Here is what your 90-minute Dry Needling Recovery Session will look like...

When you are checking in for your appointment, you will have an opportunity to customize your session! You get to choose the ambiance of the session – essential oil, music/sound/guided meditation, lighting, and room temperature.

Your practitioner will have a short conversation with you to discuss your concerns and expectations for your recovery session. Then it's time to CHILL OUT!

There will be 24 needles placed in spots on the front of the body (12 on each side – and yes, including 3 spots on the face!) These needles will stay in for 20-30 minutes. Your practitioner will leave the room to let you really get into a deep rest. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to ring them back in if needed! (Although, they can stay in the room if you request them to.)

After time is up, we will flip and do the same thing on the back side of the body! Same process as above, 24 needles for 20-30 minutes with total relaxation. Then you are done - protocol complete! We will send you home with some post-session recommendations that can help you optimize your results.

“GOOD TO KNOW” QUESTIONS:

I have a big competition coming up. When should I schedule this?

Ideally this protocol is completed 3-4 days before any competition so that soreness or drowsiness can dissipate. As far as time of the day, we recommend scheduling your session for the afternoon/evening so that you are on the tail end of your day and this protocol can make you sleepy.

WAIT A SEC - needles in the face?!

Yes! There are three spots on the face (total of 6 needles) that will be put in spots on your face. Don’t worry - they don’t hurt! They are way too small for that. If anything, it gives the same single sensation as plucking your eyebrows.

I am currently dealing with an injury - is this the kind of session I need?

No, this protocol is not designed to treat any specific injuries. The goal of this recovery session is to get your body back into a parasympathetic state where you are able to rest and recover more easily. If you are dealing with a specific injury, we’d highly recommend that you start with a Physical Therapy session and from there, your PT can suggest whether or not this would be the most beneficial option for you. If you have any questions about your specific situation, give us a call at 952-322-7383 and we can help!
